Capcom offers cheat codes for your hard-earned cash

Remember Dead Rising 2: Off the Record? Yeah, we hated it — actually, we hated Capcom — for being money-hungry and releasing a ‘reimagined sequel’ game that spits in the face of its original.

Our hatred and rage have increased.

Capcom has just annouced a very special piece of DLC for the title — one called the “GameBreaker pack” that gives you God mode and weapons impervious to damage.

FOR THE LOW, LOW PRICE OF $5 OR 400 MSP, YOU GET OLD-SCHOOL CHEAT CODES.

So, just to clarify: even when companies like EA — who pretty much started the trend of charging money for cheat codes — have stopped the practice, realising how ridiculous it is, Capcom’s going ahead at full steam.

Please don’t buy this pack, guys. Get Avatar clothes instead or something. Really.
