Call of Duty: WWII will run in 4K on Xbox One X

Call of Duty: WWII will run in 4K on Xbox One X, retailer GAME has asserted on its product page.

The retailer’s pre-order page confirms that the title will be Xbox One X Enhanced at 4K, matching the resolution offered by the PS4 Pro.

Publisher Activision has been quiet about the title on Xbox One X, but that’s understandable — as with Destiny 2, Activision seems to be firmly inside the Sony marketing camp. Still, it’s good to see that Xbox owners won’t miss out on upgraded resolution-y goodness.

It was recently confirmed that WWII won’t offer players unlimited sprint — good news, since you’ll have to slow down and take in all the high-res sights, eh?

Call of Duty: WWII heads to Windows PC, Xbox One and PS4 on 3 November. The Xbox One X follows days later on 7 November, though it’s getting touch to secure pre-orders of the latter this late in the game.
