Call of Duty The Boys crossover adds superpowers and (some of) The Seven

Whoooo!

A special Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone The Boys crossover will add superheroes and superpowers from 13 July.

“The Temp V Field Upgrade grants one of four random superpowers in your Field Upgrade slot: Charge Jump, Electric Shockwave, Laser Vision, and Teleport,” Activision Blizzard said in a press release. “You are then free to activate this power at will to rain down patriotic justice on your enemies.”

“Temp V will exist in all Warzone playlists except Ranked Play,” the publisher contined. “Because to that point, we have a piece of advice from the great Starlight about what you need in order to one day reach the Top 250, ‘You don’t need powers. You just need to be human.’ Otherwise, expect Temp V to be a lot rarer in DMZ compared to Battle Royale modes.”

The Seven’s Homelander, Starlight (pictured above) and Black Noir will also be added as Operators.

Expect The Boys inside Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 and Call of Duty Warzone 2.0 from 13 July; a taste of what to expect is below.

Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 are both available on Windows PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, PS4 and PS5.
