Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered requires Infinite Warfare physical disc at all times

Call of Duty site CharlieIntel has discovered that those who buy physical copies of Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare will have to hold on to their discs if wanting to play Modern Warfare Remastered.

The site says that the following fine print is new to the CoD website: “Modern Warfare Remastered is a full game download (game disc must be inserted to play Modern Warfare Remastered).”

What that really means is those who were planning to purchase a physical copy of Infinite Warfare for Modern Warfare Remastered cannot return Infinite Warfare and continue playing the digital bonus game. Modern Warfare Remastered is not being sold as a standalone product, so those who want to play must buy Infinity Ward’s new title.
