Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 remake confirmed for 2022

A Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 remake has been confirmed as 2022’s Call of Duty release.

Developed by Infinity Ward, the remake will of course be a sequel to 2019’s Call of Duty Modern Warfare remake.

Publisher Activision Blizzard didn’t have much else to say about the release, noting that “the new era of Call of Duty is coming,” alongside a logo reveal (which can be seen above).

This isn’t the only Call of Duty title coming near the end of the year; a Call of Duty Warzone remake — “from the ground up,” according to Activision Blizzard — is also expected this year.

We’ll have more on Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 as information is made available.
