Call of Duty Black Ops 7 multiplayer showcased ahead of beta, livestream

A new two-minute Call of Duty Black Ops 7 trailer is all about its multiplayer, and comes ahead of a larger deep dive and beta.

“For an expansive look at Multiplayer, this is your first stop,” Activision Blizzard said in an accompanying blog post. “Get more info on all 16 6v6 Multiplayer maps, both 20v20 Skirmish maps, the near-future weaponry and Loadout features on the way, Progression systems, and more.”

A new mode called Overload, which will also be part of an upcoming beta coming 3 October, is a “6v6 respawn mode that challenges teams to overload the enemy’s control zones. Only one device spawns on the map at a time, so get in there and grab it before the other side can.”

Activision Blizzard also detailed an upcoming beta which will provide early access to those who’ve pre-ordered ahead of a larger, open beta. The former will take place between 3-6 October here in Australia, while an open beta follows between 6-9 October.

Call of Duty NEXT livestream is also scheduled to take place on 1 October here in Australia.

Call of Duty Black Ops 7 is planned for a release on Windows PC via Steam and Battle.net, Xbox One, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, PS4, and PS5.
