Call of Duty Warzone doesn’t need PlayStation Plus

Call of Duty Warzone does not require a PlayStation Plus subscription, it’s been confirmed.

This means the online multiplayer portion of the free-to-play battle royale — which is all of it, really — can be experienced without any cost. That said, those who already have a PlayStation Plus subscription will benefit from a free Warzone Combat Pack, a cosmetic pack that will be exclusive to the PlayStation ecosystem until 1 October.

Call of Duty Warzone is available now, either as a standalone download or as a (legitimately massive) content update for Infinity Ward’s Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. The experience is avaiable on Windows PC, Xbox One and PS4.
