Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered won’t be a standalone product

Activision Blizzard has today confirmed that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered will not be offered as a standalone product.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered is a full game digital download,” Activision’s FAQ reads. “You must own Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare in order to get Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered.”

The remastered classic will be available in the following Infinite Warfare editions here in Australia:

  • Legacy Edition and Digital Legacy Edition – Includes both Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered, RRP AUD$129.95.
  • Digital Deluxe Edition – Includes Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered and Season Pass, RRP AUD$149.95.
  • Legacy Pro Edition – Includes Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered, Season Pass, collectible Steelbook, official game soundtrack and additional digital items, RRP AUD$169.95.

Expect both Infinite Warfare and Modern Warfare Remastered on Windows PC, Xbox One and PS4.
