Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War Nuketown 84 has a neat Easter egg

Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War‘s Nuketown ’84 map isn’t even available as yet, but players are still finding ways to uncover neat Easter eggs found within.

Redditor PimpOutMyPC allegedly glitched into the map ahead of its 24 November release date and went about shooting up mannequins to discover that doing so will transport players into a 80s-inspired acid trip. The experience contains a “blue ’80s-themed digital filter” and makes things look like they’re in Far Cry Blood Dragon more than a CoD game.

The Easter egg was uploaded to YouTube (and, alas, pulled down by Activision Blizzard) but a copy of the video still remains on Twitter. It’s below.

Crazy, eh?

Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War is currently available on Windows PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series S & X, PS4 and PS5.
