Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War confirmed by Treyarch

Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War is the next game in the franchise, developer Treyarch today confirmed in a new teaser trailer.

The trailer, below, is centred around a real-life interview with KGB defector Yuri Bezmenov.

“You are in a state of war,” Bezmenov warned. “The time bomb is ticking. With every second the disaster is coming closer and closer. The danger is real.”

The trailer confirms the name of the new game alongside a promise for more news on 26 August.
