Bungie to officially release Destiny’s soundtrack three years later

It’s taken three full years, but Bungie will finally release Destiny‘s soundtrack to the public.

Called “Music of the Spheres,” Destiny‘s soundtrack is the work of Michael Salvatori, Marty O’Donnell and The Beatles’ Paul McCartney. The work was unofficially released to public about a year ago, but Activision Blizzard and Bungie have now cracked down on the unauthorised release.

The removal of the work was noted by composer O’Donnell, who left Bungie back in 2015.

For the time being, a “better way to download” can be accessed here.

It’s unclear when Bungie and Activision Blizzard will officially release the soundtrack, but one thing’s for sure: the announcement was certainly news to O’Donnell.

“Really? Were you planning on telling me at some point? Good news,” O’Donnell wrote after Bungie advised that “We have plans to officially release MoTS in the near future.”

Destiny was released to Xbox 360, Xbox One, PS3 and PS4 back in 2015. Destiny 2 is now available on Windows PC, Xbox One and PS4.
