Bungie details Destiny’s Crimson Days

Bungie used its weekly update to detail Destiny‘s upcoming Crimson Days.

A “small, fun PvP activity” that begins on 9 February, Crimson Days will celebrate Valentine’s Day.

“What features would you build into a competitive shooter experience to provide a metaphor for going on dates, relationships, and love?” Senior Designer Leif Johansen said.

Crimson Days will feature a 2v2 Fireteam-only elimination playlist, where players receive a “significant buff” while their teammate is dead.

Johansen wants Guardians to use Crimson Days very romantically. He intends for players to “ask someone to be your Guardian Valentine” and also be “filled with angry vengeance when they get killed.”
