Borderlands The Handsome Collection free-to-play this weekend

Borderlands The Handsome Collection is free-to-play on both Windows PC via Steam and Xbox One this weekend, 2K has advised.

The bundle, pairing Borderlands 2 and Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel, is free-to-play from now until the following times:

  • 3.00 am AEST, 8 April on Windows PC via Steam
  • 5.00 am AEST, 9 April on Xbox One

An Xbox Live Gold subscription is required on Xbox One.

Moreover, the bundle is also discounted in the PlayStation, Microsoft and Steam retail storefronts.

The Handsome Collection has received ultra HD, 4K-where-supported textures in celebration of the reveal of Borderlands 3.

All current-gen Borderlands titles are available on Windows PC, Xbox One and PS4.
