Borderlands 3 PC pre-loading not available via Epic Games Store

Those looking to jump into Borderlands 3 as soon as possible will be dismayed to learn that pre-loading will not be possible on PC via the Epic Games Store.

Epic’s Tim Sweeney took to Twitter with the confirmation pre-loading will not be available.

“I’m sorry, we won’t have support for preloading in the Borderlands release timeframe,” he wrote in reply to a query.

At least the silver lining surrounding this dark cloud is that pre-loading will eventually be coming to the marketplace.

Borderlands 3 heads to Windows PC, Xbox One and PS4 on 13 September. Pre-loading of the title is possible on both Xbox One and PS4.
