Blizzard walks back Diablo 4 World Tier requirements

Power levelling remains a viable strategy.

Blizzard has walked back a single change as part of its recent Diablo 4 Season 1 patch, and it all has to do with World Tier requirements.

As reported by Icy Veins, Blizzard’s latest patch threw up World Tier requirements on characters created on or after the 1.1.1 patch.

With the changes, World Tier 3 was locked to characters who were level 40, and World Tier 4 to characters who were level 60. This profoundly impacted those who were trying to power level a character; for those unaware, a low-levelled character could pair up in a party with a friend with a high-levelled character and have the former barrel through Capstone dungeons to vastly reduce the time needed for the former character to level up.

Since the report, Diablo community lead Adam Fletcher has told the outlet the level requirements will be removed; no additional details were given, though.

Diablo 4 is now on Windows PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, PS4 and PS5; Season 1 is live now and requires a new character.
