Bioshock Infinite’s Elizabeth was originally mute, completely different in appearance

At a GDC presentation in San Francisco, Irrational Games’ Shawn Robertson explained how Bioshock Infinite‘s Elizabeth was to look completely different from the character we all recognise today.

And, she was meant to be mute.

You can watch the full presentation here, which is some great stuff. Robertson explains how Elizabeth was conceptualised and then tweaked to get to the finished product.

Bioshock Infinite is currently available on Xbox 360, PS3 and Windows PC.
