Binge subscription pricing raised alongside offer of 4K streaming

Yay?

Australian streaming service Binge has advised its users of a price change at the same time it will roll out 4K streaming to compatible devices.

“Streaming in 4K will be available on BINGE Standard from late October,” the company said in an email to subscribers. “Enjoy 4K streaming on selected content if you have a 4K compatible device.”

Standard subscribers will also be expected to pay $2 AUD more per month.

“The price of your BINGE Standard package is changing from $16/mth to $18/mth,” the company continued. “You will see this change on your next bill. If you are currently on an offer, the change will take effect after your offer ends.”
