BigFish the codename of Remedy’s next Epic Games Store title

BigFish is the codename of Remedy’s next title likely to appear on the Epic Games Store, potentially one of the two titles to come from a publishing arrangement between it and Epic Games.

First spotted by MP1st, a number of new database entries using the codename BigFish have popped up on Epicdata.info, a site that chronicles the storefront’s database. The original database entry was added earlier in May, with an update performed just yesterday.

“Epic understands what it takes to create a big game,” Remedy’s Sam Lake said of the partnership when it was announced. “They want to give us full creative freedom.”

Remedy has already confirmed that of the two games, one will be a big-budget triple-A title while the other will be smaller. Both titles have been fully-funded by Epic Games; it and Remedy will enjoy 50/50 profit sharing upon release.

We’ll have more on Remedy’s latest as it’s made available. For now, Control is available on Windows PC, Xbox One and PS4, with an Alan Wake-focused DLC to be released in the coming months.
