Battlefield 5 TTK, TTD will be addressed soon

Battlefield 5 time to kill (TTK) will be soon be addressed in-game, developer DICE has advised.

Acknowledging that TTK is too quick, DICE said looking into a balance of acceptable timings between it and time to death (TTD) is “one of our high priorities right now.”

“The TTD experience is one of our high priorities right now and there are a lot of important and complex pieces that are being investigated to identify any issues in that area, including netcode,” Core Gameplay Designer, Florian Le Bihan, wrote.

“We are also expanding the scope of our investigation and improvements to other components that are directly related to the player experience when it comes to getting shot, receiving damage, etc.”

Not all players are happy with the decision — you can read more about DICE’s plans alongside player feedback over on Reddit.

Related-yet -ot, DICE is already tweaking the game; an update coming later this week will improve the Medic class’ SMG so it performs better at range. The update will also introduce the Tides of War event to the game.

Battlefield 5 is available now on Windows PC, Xbox One and PS4.
