Battlefield 4 stats can be moved from current- to next-gen versions

DICE today revealed — rather cheekily, we might add — that Battlefield 4 players will be able to move their stats from Xbox 360 to Xbox One, or Playstation 3 to Playstation 4, in a one-time transfer.

The transfer will include all stats, unlocks, awards, assignments, rank as well as premium content and memberships.

DICE made the announcement around the same that Infinity Ward did regarding similar functionality in Call of Duty: Ghosts‘ multiplayer reveal.

Battlefield 4 will be released on 29 October for PC, Xbox 360 and PS3. It will also be on next-gen consoles at their respective launches.
