Battlefield 1’s rent-a-servers won’t be available until after launch

We knew that EA was handling Battlefield 1‘s rent-a-server options directly, but it’s now been revealed the feature won’t be offered at launch.

“Following the Battlefield 1 launch, we will start rolling out a Rent-a-Server Program that will allow players to set up their own private and public Battlefield 1 servers, with control of different gameplay options to map rotations,” EA recently detailed.

“Starting close after launch, you will be able to rent a server through the in-game store of Battlefield 1,” EA’s post continued.

We’ll let you know when exact availability is detailed.

Battlefield 1 heads to Windows PC, Xbox One and PS4 later in the month.
