Battlefield 1: Streaming, server rental and another single-player teaser

Battlefield 1 is fast approaching, and hype is building around the shooter as a result.

First, EA has just announced a series of livestreams that will start this week and continue until launch. Special guests will host a two-hour livestream each day, mostly focusing on multiplayer. They’ll run at 7.00 pm AEDST each day, though more information on the promotion can be found here.

Next, EA confirmed that server rental is back, with further details confirmed here.

Using it, anyone can set up their own servers and customise in-game rules.

Finally, a new single-player teaser was released.

Got all that?

Battlefield 1 heads to Windows PC, Xbox One and PS4 on 21 October.
