Battlefield 1 open beta bug preventing players from obtaining new weapons

Users have discovered a bug in Battlefield 1‘s open beta that’s limiting progression.

The bug, affecting the levelling systems of specific classes, kicks in when users play multiple rounds of both Rush and Conquest. Users on Reddit are fairly certain that multiple rounds on the same server prevent players from earning XP points towards class levels after the first round has been played.

The fix — for now — is to join a new server with each match you play.

Don’t fret, though — a DICE producer has indicated the developer is aware. Hopefully a proper fix is coming soon.

Battlefield 1‘s open beta is currently live on Windows PC, Xbox One and PS4.
