Battle Arena Melbourne 6 set to take place this weekend

CouchWarrior’s Battle Arena Melbourne 6 will take place from tomorrow, Friday 9 May until Sunday 11 May, right in the heart of the city.

Partnering with New Game Plus, CouchWarrior’s event will send the winner of the Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition tournament to the Capcom Pro Tour South East Asia Majors.

Additional tournaments in the event involve Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3, Killer Instinct, The King of Fighters XIII, Tekken Tag Tournament 2, Virtua Fighter 5: Final Showdown, Dead of Alive 5 Ultimate, Injustice: Gods Among Us, Street Fighter III: Third Strike, Super Smash Bros.: Brawl, Melee and Project M and Blaz Blue.

Special guests include Jeffrey “Chamba” Cruz, the comic artist for Udon Comics’ Street Fighter 2 Turbo, as well as Mick Gordon, composer on titles like Shootmania Storm, Killer Instinct and the upcoming Wolfenstein: The New Order.
