Batman Ninja has Batman as a ninja and it’s really, really cool

The first english-dubbed trailer for Batman Ninja, the new animated film in which, well, Batman is a ninja, is now available to view.

If you’ve seen the Japanese-dubbed trailer, you already know the thing is awesome. Now you can understand what they’re saying — and it involves time travel and giant robots.

Check it out below:

Batman Ninja stars Roger Craig Smith (Resident EvilAssassin’s Creed, Batman: Arkham Origins) as Batman and Tony Hale (Arrested Development) as the Joker. They’re joined by Grey Griffin (Catwoman), Tara Strong (Harley Quinn), Fred Tatasciore (Gorilla Grodd and Deathstroke), Yuri Lowenthal (Robin), Adam Croasdell (Nightwing and Alfred Pennyworth), Will Friedle (Red Robin and Red Hood), Tom Kenny (Penguin) and Eric Bauza (Two-Face). Talk about a cast, eh?

An Australian release date hasn’t been named, but Batman Ninja is expected later this year.
