Bartronica is Melbourne CBD’s newest gaming-themed bar

Those in the Melbourne CBD may be interested to learn of Bartronica, a new video game-themed bar.

As discovered by our Friendly Fire friends at MMGN, the bar is conveniently located between our offices at 335 Flinders Lane, Melbourne.

Open from midday to 1am daily, the bar promises a host of “original, super rare arcade games, some as old as 1975.” Cabinets include the likes of The Simpsons Arcade, Mortal Kombat and NBA Jam.

A range of beer and cider is available on tap.

You can find out more about Bartronica via their Facebook page. Or, you know, wait until next week as I’m sure the Friendly Fire crew will sample Bartronica’s wares ahead of our podcast recording this Friday.
