Maui Strong Sale on Steam supports the island as it recovers

Play games and help some people out.

The Maui Strong Sale on Steam will take place later this week, raising funds to help relief and reconstruction efforts in Maui.

Maui was devastated by wildfires in August of this year, destroying approximately 2,200 buildings, causing $5.5 billion USD in damage, and taking the lives of over 100 people.

“Honolulu-based KOMODO HAWAI’I, which publishes KOMODO’s games on Steam, has organized an event called the ‘Maui Strong Sale’ in cooperation with many game developers and publishers to contribute to the recovery efforts and support the people of Maui who have been impacted by the fires,” reads a press release.

“More than 240 great games and thousands of DLC will be participating in the sale, including titles such as Pocket Mirror ~ GoldenerTraum, Monster Hunter: World, THE KING OF FIGHTERS XIV STEAM EDITION, and Lost Ruins, with savings up to 87% off,” the press release continued.

There are hundreds of bargains to be had; you can visit the Maui Strong Sale’s Steam page to check them all out here. It’s a relatively short sale, running between 5.00 am AEDT on 19 December through to 5.00 am AEDT on 22 December here in Australia.

If you’d like to donate directly to efforts conducted in Maui, we’d suggest the Maui Strong Fund or the Maui Food Bank.
