itch.io Creator Day means it doesn’t take a cut of sales on 30 November

And it's timed for the Autumn Sale!

Indie platform itch.io will not take its usual cut of sales from purchases made on 30 November, it’s today announced.

Called Creator Day, itch.io “[isn’t] taking any cut of sales on the site,” it detailed. “This means creators get an even bigger portion of sales than usual.”

That cut, itch.io confirmed, means developers “[will] receive 100% of [their] sales for that full 24-hour period”.

Here in Australia, Creator Day runs from 5.00 am AEDT on 30 November until 5.00 am AEDT on 1 December. It coincides with itch.io’s Autumn Sale, which kicks off from 5.00 am AEDT on 28 November through to 5 December.
