Baptiste is Overwatch’s latest character (and a former Talon agent!)

Overwatch‘s newest character, Baptiste, was today confirmed by Activision Blizzard.

The support character was first teased earlier this week; the short video confirmed Baptiste as a former Talon agent who is being hunted down by members of the nefarious organisation. Baptiste, full name Jean-Baptiste Augustin, has since been described as a Haitian combat medic who excels at support.

While a release date for Baptiste hasn’t been detailed, it’s likely the support character will appear inside the PC’s public test realm (PTR) quite soon. We’ll keep you up to date until we learn more. Until that time, you can tide yourself over by watching the character’s teaser and origin trailers below.

Overwatch is currently available on Windows PC, Xbox One and PS4.
