Banishers Ghosts of New Eden delayed to February 2024

Another one moves out of the way...

Banishers Ghosts of New Eden has been delayed to 13 February 2024, developer DONTNOD and publisher Focus Home Entertainment have today announced.

The reason for the delay was simply to move the title out of the way of juggernaut triple-A releases. The title was originally expected on 7 November.

“We have decided to postpone the release of this new franchise by three months,” Focus advised, “as the market is experiencing an intense release cycle for AAA titles on PC and consoles at the end of the year.”

Moreover, Focus said this new February 2024 release date — one in a “less saturated period” — will Banihsers “the attention it deserves.”
