Bandai Namco partners with FabZat to produce physical Tekken Card Tournament trading cards

Bandai Namco announced a partnership with FabZat today which will see players of free-to-play Tekken Card Tournament able to purchase physical trading cards.

Players will be able to order trading card packs through in-app purchases of the title on both iOS and Android with over 190 physical cards to collect which include new characters to battle with. The physical cards will include a QR code which can be scanned and added to the digital game. If players take a photo of the cards, a 3D model of the character from the card will be added to the game through augmented reality.

Players will be able to purchase two different physical card packs; a 6 card booster for $10.99 USD and 36 card boosters for $49.99 USD (local pricing TBC).

Tekken Card Tournament is available for iOS and Android.
