BackBone One PlayStation Edition is a DualSense for your iPhone

Nice.

The BackBone One PlayStation Edition was today announced and aims to be a DualSense for your iOS smartphone.

Like the Xbox version of the peripheral, the BackBone One will strap around either side of your iPhone and offer up functionality that mirrors your proper PlayStation DualSense controller.

“Inspired by the look and feel of the PS DualSense wireless controller, the Backbone One gives users tactile controls to enhance their gaming experience on [smartphone],” BackBone said of the device. “Pair with the PS Remote Play App and you can play your PlayStation games anywhere with ease. Simply plug your [smartphone] into the Backbone One and start playing.”

The BackBone One PlayStation Edition comes in two total flavours: Black or White.

Australian availability is as follows:

The PlayStation version also comes with 3 months of Discord Nitro, and 1 month of Apple Arcade and 2 months of Google Stadia Pro.

An Android version is not available, though there is the Xbox-inspired BackOne for both iOS and Android, as follows:

The Xbox version also comes with 3 months of Discord Nitro, 1 month of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, 1 month of Apple Arcade and 2 months of Google Stadia Pro (iPhone) or 3 months of Discord Nitro (Android).
