Avengers Xbox Series X release also offers graphics or framerate priority

AvengersXbox Series X release will also offer the same choice between an Enhanced Graphics Mode or High Framerate mode already confirmed for PS5, Crystal Dynamics has told Stevivor.

“We will definitely [offer those options],” Crystal Dynamics’ Scot Amos said.

“You’ve seen some of our games and how we do [them]. We take whatever platform our software is on and we make it the best for that platform. We will absolutely give… love and attention to any platform we put our game on.”

PlayStation owners will have an advantage over those on Xbox and PC in the form of extra in-game goodies.

You can listen to our full interview with Amos alongside Crystal Dynamics’ Shaun Escayg, Vince Napoli and Phil Therien as part of the latest episode of the Friendly Fire Show.

Avengers heads to Windows PC, Xbox One, PS4 and Stadia on 4 September and will head to Xbox Series X and PS5 upon their launches. A free current- to next-gen upgrade will be offered alongside cross-saves and platform-specific cross-play.
