Avengers will let you play as the same hero from July

Fancy a team of all Hulks? You'll soon be able to!

The ability to play as multiple versions of the same hero will soon be added to Avengers, developer Crystal Dynamics has recently confirmed.

A July update will add the feature alongside Omega-Level Threat: Family Reunion and multiplayer Mega Hives.

“Finally, due to your feedback, we’re permanently turning on the ability to play multiple of the same Hero during matchmaking and when forming Strike Teams,” Crystal Dynamics said in an update.

“Tachyon energy in the world has reached a level where Hero selection is always similar to the Tachyon Anomaly Event. We’ll have more information about these features later in July!”

Patrol Mode, a feature expected in July, has been just beyond August to make room for these new updates.

Avengers is currently available on Windows PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, PS4, PS5 and Stadia.
