Avengers current-gen version, Hawkeye 2 both coming 19 March

The current-gen upgrade is free if you already own Avengers.

Avengers’ current-gen upgrade has been scheduled for 19 March on Xbox Series S & X and PS5, the same day Clint Barton’s Hawkeye will be released into the game.

Barton’s Hawkeye will be the second available version of the arrow-slinging hero, after December 2020’s Kate Bishop Hawkeye.

“In addition to a new playable Super Hero [Hawkeye 2] and the new chapter in the game’s ongoing Avengers Initiative story, Marvel’s Avengers Operation: Hawkeye – Future Imperfect also introduces a powerful new villain: Maestro, a version of Hulk with Bruce Banner’s brains and the Hulk’s strengths and abilities, now driven mad in an apocalyptic future,” Square Enix and Crystal Dynamics advised in a press release.

Avengers is currently available on Windows PC, Xbox One, PS4 and Stadia and properly heads to Xbox Series S & X and PS5 on 19 March.
