Aussie-made Broken Roads new release date set for 10 April

That's soon!

The Aussie-made Broken Roads new release date has been set, and it’s close: 10 April, across PC, Xbox, and PlayStation.

The title, origially expected on 14 November 2023, was delayed just five days before its release. The Torquay, Victoria-based Drop Bear Bytes said more time was needed to polish the post-apocalyptic RPG.

“We appreciate the community’s patience in allowing us to give Broken Roads the polish and attention it needed to get to the finish line,” said Drop Bear’s Craig Ritchie, in a new update. “Broken Roads is now in its best state ever, with more polish, more voice acting, over 400,000 words of dialogue and more than 150,000 end-game permutations. We hope you all have an amazing time playing it.”

Broken Roads is a damn big deal. Post apocalyptic, deep conversations, applied philosophy, weirdness wired in, and Australia? Yeah, this game has got it all,” added creative lead Colin McComb, a dev with credits including Fallout 2, Planescape Torment, Wasteland 2, and Torment Tides of Numenera under his belt.

Take a look at what to expect below.

Broken Roads heads to Windows PC via Steam, Xbox One, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, PS4, and PS5 on 10 April.
