Aussie-based Netflix geoblock bypasser says it’s been blocked

The Age today reports that Aussie-based Netflix geoblock bypass service provider uFlix has been blocked by the popular streaming company.

uFlix is a DNS-based geoblock bypasser, allowing users to access the Netflix libraries of the United States and other countries rather than just that of Australia. Today, uFlix says that “a small number of its customers” cannot connect to Netflix with bypass settings in place.

“The blocking is currently not aggressive and we believe (for the moment) they are only testing the new blocking methods on their customers,” uFlix’s Peter Dujan told The Age.

Last week, Netflix said it would begin to crackdown on geoblock bypassers.
