Assassin’s Creed Valhalla will force reinstall to save on storage space

Worth it.

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla will force players to reinstall the game in an effort to save big on storage space.

Depending on your platform of choice, the reinstall will save your storage drive between 13-44GB of space.

Here’s what each platform will be able to claw back from the reinstall:

  • Windows PC: 34GB
  • PS4: 30GB
  • PS5: 13GB
  • Xbox One: 30GB
  • Xbox Series X: 44GB

While it’s a bit annoying to have to redownload a game you’ve already got, storage space on current-gen consoles is always at a premium; we’d say the exercise is worth it.

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is currently available on Windows PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, PS4, PS5 and Stadia.
