Assassin’s Creed: Unity should have the same Windows PC release date as Xbox One, PS4

Notorious for a PC release far after a console release, Assassin’s Creed: Unity will seemingly be the first title in the franchise to have simultaneous releases.

“We’re always aiming to ship all our games on all platforms at the same time,” Unity Producer Lesley Phord-Toy said to Rock, Paper, Shotgun. “I don’t have any specific news on the PC version ofAssassin’s Creed Unity, but I do know we’re planning on shipping on all three [platforms]: Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC. I haven’t heard any news differently than that.”

Phord-Toy said past PC releases were delayed due to “a variety of different hardware configurations that you can’t necessarily predict” as compared to standardised consoles.

Assassin’s Creed: Unity will be available from 28 October on Windows PC, Xbox One and PS4.
