Assassin’s Creed Odyssey on Nintendo Switch in Japan via Cloud Version

Assassin’s Creed Odyssey heads to Nintendo Switch in Japan thanks to a special cloud version that will stream the game to the console.

Odyssey will follow in the footsteps of Resident Evil 7 in using cloud computing to get the game to the less-powerful console.

You can watch a Japanese trailer for Assassin’s Creed Odyssey on Nintendo Switch below. While it’s unlikely we’ll get a similar release over here in the west, we’ll keep you informed as we learn more.

Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey heads to Windows PC, Xbox One and PS4 (and maybe Switch via the cloud version) on 5 October.
