Assassin’s Creed Mirage has a historical database built right in

Discovery Tour, anyone?

Assassin’s Creed Mirage will offer up a historical look at Baghdad right at launch via a feature called “History of Baghdad”.

Ubisoft calls the feature, which details sixty-six different historical sites within the virtual recreation of Baghdad “a portal to valuable insights about the era, divided into five categories: Art & Science; Beliefs and Daily Life; Court Life; Economy; and Government.”

“Each entry has been crafted in collaboration with historians and expert advisors and is illustrated by images carefully selected amongst the collections of eminent museums and institutions worldwide, including The David Collection, the Institut du monde arabe (IMA), The Khalili Collections, and Shangri La Museum of Islamic Art, Culture & Design,” Ubisoft continued.

If the feature sounds a lot like previous Assassin’s Creed Discovery Tour entries, that’s because it frankly is. We loved those educational romps — you can read our Discovery Tour Ancient Egypt review here and our Discovery Tour Viking Age review right here.

Expect Assassin’s Creed Mirage from 12 October on Windows PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, PS4 and PS5.
