Assassin’s Creed Infinity isn’t free-to-play, says Ubisoft

Good news!

Assassin’s Creed Infinity will not be free-to-play, Ubisoft’s Yves Guillemot has recently confirmed.

Guillemot made the assertion during a recent Ubisoft earnings call.

“It’s not going to be free-to-play and this game will have a lot of narrative elements in it,” Guillemot said. “It’s going to be a very innovative game but it will have what players already have in all the Assassin’s Creed games, all the elements that they love to get in them right from the start.”

Infinity was first confirmed back in July of this year, a live service game that will serve in place of a new yearly installment. It’s early on in development, the product of a partnership between Ubisoft’s Montreal and Quebec studios.

We’ll have more on Assassin’s Creed Infinity as it comes to light.
