Assassin’s Creed Discovery Tours free until 21 May

Assassin’s Creed Discovery Tours in both Assassin’s Creed Origins and Assassin’s Creed Odyssey are available free until 21 May, Ubisoft has confirmed.

The standalone versions of both games’ tours are now available on UPlay as part of Ubisoft’s Play Your Part, Play at Home campaign. If you’re unfamiliar with the Discovery Tours, they’ll put you in the heart of locations like Ancient Egypt and Ancient Greece, removing traditional gaming functionality like combat or mission objectives in order for the player to learn more about the world around them.

We reviewed Origins‘ Discovery Tour here.

“With millions of children experiencing upheaval to their studies right now, and teachers forced to adapt their lessons to digital tools, people are seeking new and enriching ways to learn,” said Etienne Allonier, Brand Director for Assassin’s Creed. “We’re really proud of the Discovery Tours and their capacity to make history accessible, immersive, and fun.”

The Discovery Tours are free on Windows PC, but both Assassin’s Creed Origins and Assassin’s Creed Odyssey are available on Windows PC, Xbox One and PS4.
