Assassin’s Creed Discovery Tour makes the jump to iOS, Android

They're always so neat, so definitely check this one out.

Assassin’s Creed Discovery Tour is now available on iOS and Android devices in the form of Discovery Tour App Medieval Baghdad, Ubisoft has today announced.

“Using the recreation of Baghdad from Ubisoft’s video game Assassin’s Creed Mirage, the Discovery Tour App Medieval Baghdad allows users to explore this lost city, a former capital for political, scientific, cultural, and commercial advances, through two different modes,” Ubisoft said in a press release.

First, Access Codex mode “provides players with carefully selected encyclopaedic entries on the history, art, and culture of medieval Baghdad and the Abbasid Caliphate,” according to Ubisoft. It uses codex entries from Assassin’s Creed Mirage to do so.

Next, Explore Baghdad is described by Ubisoft as, “a gamified, narrative-driven journey that takes approximately 2 hours to complete. Players are tasked to collect Codex entries through a series of minigames and 360° exploration.”

If you’re interested, you can grab the free app here on the Apple App Store, and here on the Google Play Store.

I’m big on these Discovery Tour entries, which I’ve described in the past as “compelling, informative and engaging… educational software.” I’d suggest you check this one out too.

Assassin’s Creed Mirage is available on Windows PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, PS4, PS5, and select iPhone and iPad devices.
