Ashes Cricket release date confirmed for mid-November

Today, developer Big Ant confirmed what cricket fans have been wanting for weeks: the Ashes Cricket release date. We now know the game will be available from 16 November on Windows PC, Xbox One and PS4.

“We can’t wait for fans to get their hands on the game,” Big Ant CEO, Ross Symons, said in a new statement. “We wanted this game to build on the years of experience that we’ve had in developing cricket games, and we’re thrilled with the results. Playing this game really does feel like being out there on one of Australia’s iconic cricket grounds.”

The title has been classified as G for General and has a suggested retail price of $99.95 AUD on console.

“All the in-depth customisation features that Big Ant is known for are in this game,” Symons continued. “And we’re adding the greatest competition in cricket into the mix, fully licensed, for an extra shot of authenticity and realism.

“Every one of our releases builds on what we’ve learned in previous games. We’ve taken fan feedback to heart and have brought innovations to the game that have resulted in a smoother and more comprehensive game of cricket.”

Ashes Cricket heads to Windows PC, Xbox One and PS4 on 16 November. PC pricing via Steam has yet to be announced.
