The Ascent on Windows 10 now has ray-tracing

Now for DLSS?

The Ascent on Windows 10 via the Microsoft Store (including its Xbox Game Pass version) is now one step closer to parity with its Steam counterpart, adding ray-tracing support as part of a new patch.

Well, almost — the patch that adds ray-tracing to Windows 10 is on the way, though already deployed to Steam.

Alongside ray-tracing, the patch improves performance of DirectX 12, introduces a new system to combat save file corruption and addresses issues with co-op.

The post-patch Windows 10 version of the title is still lacking DLSS when compared to Steam.

The Ascent is currently available on Windows PC via Steam and Windows 10, Xbox Series S and Xbox Series X, part of the Xbox Game Pass program.
