Ark: Survival Evolved, DLC delayed until the end of the month

Ark: Survival Evolved and its “Ragnarok” DLC have both been delayed until the end of August, Studio Wildcard today confirmed.

The game is simple taking “a little longer than expected,” the developer said.

As a result, both Ark and the DLC will release on 29 August rather than 8 August as originally planned.

“This extended time will allow further development of the map and you guys can expect a gigantic update, even bigger than we initially thought,” Studio Wildcard said of the DLC specifically. The overground world is now expected to be “approximately one quarter” larger than planned.

Ark: Survival Evolved now heads to Windows PC, Xbox One and PS4 on 28 August. The game is currently in Early Access.
