Apple iPhone 16 event livestreams from 10 September

Set an early alarm.

Apple’s ready to show off the iPhone 16 in a special event that will take place on 10 September here in Australia.

The event, which will be broadcast on the Apple website, is set to take place from 3.00 am AEST on 10 September, via the Steve Jobs Theatre in Cupertino, California.

According to an invitation sent to Stevivor by Apple, the tagline for the event is simple: “It’s Glowtime.”

While we’re not sure exactly what to expect, it’s likely we’ll see a new Apple Watch alongside the iPhone 16. Apple is also likely to release iOS 18, iPadOS 18, macOS Sequoia, and watchOS 11 sometime shortly following the livestream. Apple Intelligence — its AI — is also expected to be a focal point of the presentation.

We’ll report back with Apple’s big reveals following the event. In the meantime, what are you hoping for?
