Apple is hosting an Australian App Showcase in Brisbane to celebrate Australia Day

Apple today announced that it’s celebrating Australia Day with an Australian App Showcase in Brisbane.

Taking place at the Apple Store in Brisbane, the event features a talk by Ben Huxton, a developer with the Aussie development house MiniMega.

Huxley will speak of how he got started in the industry alongside discussion of MiniMega’s word puzzle game Bonza.

The event takes place 27 January — so you can get your beers and Triple J Hottest 100 on without problem — at the Apple Store, MacArthur Chambers, Brisbane from 5.30pm to 6.30pm AEST.
