Apple details the iPhone 7, 7 Plus

Apple today detailed the newest iPhones to hit the market: the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus.

The phones will sport a new A10 Fusion processor, a 12-megapixel camera, a redesigned Home button and — perhaps most importantly — headphone support through its Lightning port rather than a dedicated, traditional 3.5mm jack.

The iPhone 7 is the same size as the iPhone 6S, though lighter. The same is true for the 7 Plus and 6 Plus.

The phones will also come in the new Jet Black colouring, though Apple has already said that version of the phone is more scratch-prone.

The 7 and 7 Plus are both available in Australia from 16 September. The 7 series starts at $1,079 AUD and the 7 Plus at $1,269 AUD. For more tech specs, click here.
